Hey! I’m Jackson Anderson, thanks for joining me here.

In 2023 I graduated from George Mason University with a BA in Anthropology and no clue what to do with it. I’ve spent the last year based in Richmond, VA, trying to figure that out. In the meantime, I’ve travelled up and down the eastern seaboard, hiking, camping, and paddling, while writing and photographing along the way.

I’d always wanted to start a blog, but never felt like I was ready, like I hadn’t earned it in some weird way. Enough of that. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the past year, it’s that starting is the hardest part.

This site is nominally to write about my passions, travels, and general life happenings, and to showcase my development as a photographer. Where this’ll go? We’ll find out together…
